Founder and Creative Director, Aurelia Santoso, brought her looks to New York on for the CAAFD showcase on September 11 and dazzled the audience at the ArtBeam. The designer’s vision is to create ready-to-wear pieces for the urban woman that really stand out from the rest. Her line, LAISON, was established in 2014, and has only been growing in popularity ever since. The audience had never quite seen anything like these designs and were met with palpable excitement.

Her designs included soft greens, versatile jackets, and evening dresses.

Santoso uses her talent to create elongated silhouettes, top-notch fabrics, and innovative designs.

“With each piece, I want to tell a story through prints, shapes, fabrics and tailoring. My goal as a designer is to create an emotional impact and speak to the complexities of the modern urban woman” says Santoso. It is evident from these photos that she absolutely nailed that! Here’s to seeing what is in store next season!
