Hit the summer heat right back by checking out these hotel pools that don’t require you to be a guest to use!

Glass-bottomed pool, and even sand shipped in from Montauk in a separate beach area, keeping the water grit-free. On weekdays, the hotel offers $55 day passes to non-guests based on availability. If you really want to go and don’t want to leave it to chance, you can always book one of two cabanas.

2. Equinox Printing House: 421 Hudson St
Reservations through appointment only! Gym members can enjoy the pool all summer long with a gym membership for $175/month. If you don’t want to hit the gym before laying by the pool, set up an hour long massage for $70 and soak up the sun after.

This rooftop pool gives you the best views of Manhattan and the Hudson River. Cool off in the pool or just hang out on the day beds. The nearby grill offers delicious dishes as well as an extensive drink list. Get a day pass for $40!

4. Le Parker Meridien: 119 West 56th St.
With these day passes being quite expensive, you actually get your money’s worth. You have full access to the gym and the indoor and outdoor pool. The floor to ceiling windows allow for amazing views of Central Park, while the outdoor sundeck makes for comfortable tanning.

5. McCarren Hotel & Pool: 160 N 12th St
Not like a normal pool you might be used to, this entire pool located on the ground floor is only four feet deep. There is a lot more area surrounding the pool, seating 150 while offering poolside services such as cocktails and small plates. Day passes are $40 Monday through Thursday and $60 Friday through Sunday.

6. Crowne Plaza Times Square: 1605 Broadway
The 50 foot indoor pool and day passes only being $25 for non-guests will make you want to spend all day here. Being one of the cheapest places in all of New York, make sure you get in on a good day when it’s not too crowded!

The hotel with the most! An all day pass costing you $18 will give you access to an on-site fitness center, spa and pool, providing you are 18 or older. Classes offered include Brazilian Body Surf and Swim Training for all levels. Open Monday 5:30am-10:30pm, Friday 8am-8pm, and Sat and Sun 10am-7:30 pm

Via Millennium UN Plaza Hotel

8. Millennium UN Plaza Hotel: 1 United Nations Plaza
This 44 foot heated pool located on the hotel’s 27th floor is part of the on-site health club. Their hours of operation are 7am-10pm daily. The city’s only indoor hotel tennis court is also on property and $35 gives you access for the day.

9. Sheraton Manhattan: 790 Seventh Ave
Another indoor pool, but this particular hotel offers water aerobics classes throughout the day. Pay $40 for a day pass to spend a scorching hot day away from the blazing heat and swimming until you can’t swim anymore.

While this hotel pool is not normally open to guests, The James offers the people of New York a unique experience. After 3 pm on the weekend, the pool holds a pool party that is completely free to the public. The Jimmy rooftop bar adjacent to the pool is also available.
