Gal Gadot spoke out about her experience with Joss Whedon. She shared that the Justice League director made threats to derail her career during reshoots for the film. Gadot played Wonder Woman in the movie.
Gadot recently spoke to Israeli outlet N12.
“I had my issues with Joss, and I handled it. He threatened my career and said that if I do something, he will make sure my career is miserable and I took care of it on the spot,” she said.
In addition to that, a witness said that the conflict between Gal Gadot and Joss had allegedly occurred when Gadot questioned some of the new lines added in the script. However, Gal Gadot has not publicly shared any details about her clash with Whedon
“He told her he is the writer and she is going to shut up and say the lines and he can make her look incredibly stupid in this movie,” the insider claimed.
Whedon’s Feud with Fisher
Previously, Joss Whedon faced a similar issue. Fisher publicly criticized Whedon for the way he treated the cast and crew during filming, accusing him of being “gross, abusive, unprofessional and completely unacceptable”. This happened last summer.
Furthermore, Fisher’s comments caused Warner Bros. to launch an official investigation into Joss Whedon’s alleged misconduct.
The studio also investigated producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg, as Fisher accused of enabling Whedon’s behavior.
Jon Berg denied the accusations, saying that it was “categorically untrue that we enabled any unprofessional behavior.”
The investigation concluded in December, with Warner Bros releasing little detail beyond saying that “remedial action has been taken.”
