Thomas Middleditch and Mollie Gates are officially getting a divorce. Thomas will have to pay $2.6 million to his ex-wife Mollie Gates. This comes as a deal the ex couple agreed upon as part of their divorce settlement.

Thomas, 39 and Mollie, 33 agreed to the civil settlement of payment. According to Wednesday’s US Weekly report, it will span until December 2022. Costume designer, Molli Gates filed a divorce from the Silicon Valley actor, Thomas Middleditch in May 2020. She asked for a split after a four year relationship.

Moreover, as part of the settlement agreed, Thomas will keep the two Los Angeles properties he own; a condo and a house. In addition to that, he also has property in Big Bear Lake, California and Canada.

Furthermore, Thomas will also retain all rights to his residuals and royalties, and vehicle. Equally important Mollie Gates will leave the marriage with her vehicle and her personal possessions.

“We have different speeds, and we argue over it constantly, but it’s better than feeling unheard and alone and that you have to scurry in the shadows. By the way, it’s now called being “part of the lifestyle.” The term swinging is old,” Thomas said in an interview.

Last year, Thomas Middleditch said he made a mistake on The Daily Beast’s The Last Laugh podcast in April 2020. This was only a month before his wife filed to split.

“To be honest, it’s a thing I wish I could take back. It was poor execution But I’ve learned to keep things a little more close to the chest,” he explained.

Thomas’s Controversy

In March, Hannah Harding claimed that Thomas had groped her and another woman without their consent to Los Angeles Times. Furthermore, she said it happened at a mow-defunct club in Los Angeles called Cloak and Dagger. Hannah said it happened in 2019.

In addition to that, Ms. Harding shared a couple of direct messages with Thomas:

“Hannah I had no idea my actions were that weird for you … I know you probably want to just put me on blast as a monster … I don’t expect you to want to be my friend or anything … I am so ashamed I made you uncomfortable,” he said.
