Artichoke Basille’s Pizza

Joe’s Pizza

John’s of Bleecker Street Pizza

This pizzeria opened in 1929 in the heart of Greenwich Village right off Bleecker Street. John’s Pizzeria is one of the oldest family-run pizzerias there is! They use their own specially blended tomatoes for their sauce and make their thin crust dough daily using double zero flour which has a lower gluten content to yield a lighter crispier dough.

Paulie Gee’s Pizza

This Greenpoint restaurant takes its name after its owner Paul Giannone. His go-to pie is the Hellboy with fresh mozzarella, gorgonzola cheese, hot honey, and house-roasted pork shoulder. They also have a spicy fennel sausage pizza with broccoli rabe and pecorino Romano.

Motorino Pizzeria

Carlo Mirarchi started his eponymous pizzeria in 2008 after working for Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group. Their signature pie is the “Ma­Po­rese” topped with mozzarella, caciocavallo cheese, chili flake, ground pork, and Sichuan pepper oil. This East Village staple has been featured by Zagat as one of New York’s must-try pizzerias!
